The EQI Review Process

The EQI Program has eight steps which lead to facilities achieving accreditation. For information on each of the steps, please click here.

Preparing for the EQI Process

We look forward to working with you to improve echocardiography in Ontario. In preparation for your journey through the Program, we recommend you and your colleagues:

Review the Echocardiography Quality Improvement (EQI) Program Requirements.
Complete a self-review by comparing the service you provide against each requirement.
If applicable, determine areas for improvement and implement the required changes.
Ensure your facility Policy and Procedure manual reflects the Requirements and the practice of all facility staff.
