Mayank Khanna, Director – Accreditation Canada Diagnostics, has been appointed as the Financial Audit Committee member at the recently created Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated.
On January 1, 2026, a significant milestone was reached when the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) formally came together under a single new organization, the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated. Accreditation Canada Diagnostics has been a full member of ILAC since 2012.
Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated works to strengthen accreditation systems worldwide, fostering confidence in conformity assessment, quality assurance, and institutional credibility across borders.
In his new role on the Financial Audit Committee, Mayank will contribute to Global Accreditation Cooperation’s ongoing commitment to robust financial stewardship, transparency, and independence. The committee plays a critical role in overseeing financial controls, audit processes, and risk management practices that underpin the integrity of global accreditation activities. Mayank’s experience in healthcare strategy and operations, combined with a clear commitment to financial transparency, will support the organization’s mission to uphold excellence, accountability, and confidence in accreditation systems worldwide.
