Accreditation Canada (AC) Diagnostics is pleased to announce that as of September 21, 2023, the Departments of Anatomical & Cellular Pathology, Chemical Pathology and Microbiology in the Prince of Wales Hospital of Hong Kong have each achieved ISO 15189 Plus™ accreditation.  In selecting the AC Diagnostics accreditation program, the Prince of Wales Hospital demonstrates their commitment to quality and competence standards on an internationally recognized platform.

Prince of Wales Hospital was established in 1984 in Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong, and is one of the leading teaching hospitals in Hong Kong with approximately 1800 beds. The hospital provides a full range of clinical services and a 24-hour accident and emergency service.

Prince of Wales Hospital joins the growing number of services that recognize the value of elevating expectations for quality to include international stature.
