We are pleased to announce McMaster HealthLabs has achieved ISO 15189 Plus™ accreditation. In acquiring this designation, the facility sends a clear signal of commitment to quality for those to whom they provide services.

McMaster HealthLabs is affiliated with McMaster University in Hamilton and is located within the university buildings. Encompassing a team of scientists and doctors within McMaster University, The Research Institute of St. Joseph’s, Hamilton, and other Canadian universities and research organizations, these professionals have come together to generate the scientific data critical to developing innovative ways in keeping Canadians safe and supporting a strong economy.

McMaster HealthLabs is a non-profit organization focused on curbing the human, economic and social costs of COVID-19 through research initiatives and testing solutions. Their vision is to provide accessible and equitable infectious disease diagnostic testing and surveillance for all populations. McMaster HealthLabs currently provides service to the City of Hamilton, with COVID-19 testing in homeless shelters.
